As a very busy executive, I didn’t have the luxury of visiting dozens of bridal shops to select the perfect dress. As a frugal business woman, I couldn’t convince myself that a dress I was going to wear one time was worth $10,000. Money wasn’t an issue, however customer service, the right color and the perfect dress was. I’d spent one time too many listening to several sales persons tell me that the dress I wanted and was paying for only came in this color and this fabric only! This was my second wedding. I wanted a dress that bespoke not of innocence and purity, but rather elegance, simplicity and style. No busy beading, no lace, just a simple champagne-cream color sheath dress that I would look simply stunning in.
Grace came highly recommended from a friend who had her wedding gown custom made as well as the maids and flower girls. My initial meeting with Loyce was over the phone from my office. I described what I wanted and we discussed a first meeting date and additional fittings to coordinate with my busy schedule. I flew to L. A. from the Bay Area for our first meeting, we reviewed sketches of her concepts based on our conversations and her interpretation of what I’d envisioned. Loyce was right on target. She utilized my time very efficiently while I was in L. A. We spend the rest of the day shopping for fabric, taking measurements and finalizing the details. She was a consummate professional — skilled, patient and creative. The final result was absolutely stunning, breathtaking and a perfect fit. The veil was exactly how I had envisioned it. It was icing on the cake. The added personal touch of delivering my dress the day before the wedding was even more special. My dress was so perfect that it landed me on the cover of a bridal magazine, and a picture of my husband and I on the Gamble Gardens website homepage!
Loyce is the BEST, a true professional, and a master at her craft.
